I have a couple of things on my credit- (two) from when I was 18. I am now 24 and I got a credit card to build my credit score back up. The limit is 300. My question is, in order to build up my score do I pay the entire balance off monthly or just make the minimum payments? Or do I pay more then the minimum but not the entire balance? I have no problem paying it off monthly- my whole goal is to raise my credit score.
It would be better to pay them off monthly because if you pay the minimum payment you are going to be paying interest.
I had a company help me out with credit, and it worked really well for cleaning up my report. www.idealhelpnow.com

pay the entire balance monthly as soon as you get your bill. I pay it before I get my bill just to make sure.

to raise credit score
1. Always pay on time or ahead of time.
2. maintain low balances on credit cards
3.To boost your score: Don’t charge anything for at least 60 days before applying for a loan
4. keep your total potential debt to earnings load low – If you have a card with a $15000 credit line, you may ask them to reduce it to something more realistic, like $5000.
5. You should have a recent history of both installment or term (Car or house loans) and revolving credit.
6.To boost your score: Don’t close unused accounts when you transfer debt.
7.To boost your score: Consider opening another credit-card account or two, or taking out a car loan or small bank loan.

Pay the entire monthly bill. It will help your credit and eventually they will give you a higher credit limit. Don’t ever leave a balance, the interest is too high.
